Boulevard Park
How did I end up here? I was walking down the dock of Boulevard Park, in Bellingham, and I saw the sunsetting. At that moment felt the blessing of living in the Pacific Northwest. I have seen countless sunsets, but this time was different. Something about the sun beams reflecting on the ocean and the silhouettes of the San Juan islands. As well as standing on the dock floating above it all.
I simply followed my gut and kept moving further up north, and I found where I now call my home. This painting serves as a moment in time and that beauty exists all around us all the time. Follow your heart and gut, they will never lead you astray.
